Don’t Give In!
“If the godly give in to the wicked, it’s like polluting a fountain or muddying a spring” (Prov.25:26). We cannot give in to the ungodly influence of our age concerning abortion and homosexuality. As the light of the world, we cannot afford to dim our wattage. We cannot grow weary, and certainly not “throw in the towel.” We need Supreme Court justices and federal judges who will refuse to legislate from the bench and who will uphold righteousness, and this presidential election will determine many such appointments. We must pray, pray, pray! Our threat of economic crisis is only the tip of the iceberg of God’s judgment upon America if we don’t turn from our murder of innocent babies and our filthy perversions. No plan of man can bail us out if God becomes the “enemy” of our nation. I have a greater resolve than ever to do all I can to save my great nation - “one nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all.” I believe in the power of corporate prayer! If the churches of America will unite in prayer, we can turn our nation around. The weapons God has given us are powerful to “knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments”(2 Cor. 10 4).

I will stand with you–I will pray for our nation, our home. We will not give in, we will not give up! We must take our nation for the Lord, state by state!

First of all, God will never be my enemy. He said that he will never leave us nor forsake us. Abortion and Homosexuality is not the only thing that we face. No, I am not for it, but I will not base my decision just on that. Furthermore, both parties is for homosexuality, but neither like the situation. We as believers should not attack either campaign. Also, I feel that the candidates should not attack each other. I pray for both parties and I will allow the Holy Spirit to direct me with my decision. Whatever God orders he pay for! Remember, God has already given one candidate the plan. And that person will be the next President of the United States in Jesus name!

Yes, Sister Melanie, it’s our duty to do whatever we can to keep this nation His & that we would obey His ways. It’s been many many years that the fight has been out there spiritually, but we Christians have NOT been a voice as we should’ve been (We have held the enemy back to some degree, but what will happen if we don’t have our top officials honoring God’s laws? Will the enemy to loosed to make all kinds of wicked laws? Will our hedge of protection come down? God’s been merciful…I hope the final blow of disrespect & abuse of His mercy is not at our feet with this election). He’s holy…& has been dealing with me at the bottom of my heart in the area of choosing myself over Him. The cleansing is great & once truly deny self, it’s a joy to continue doing so. We’re so afraid to give up what’s dear to us in our own way of thinking…but as I took the steps, it was surprising to see & partake of grace that awaited me AFTER I made the decision for every denial to self!!!!! It gets easier & easier & the things that were challenges to me got smaller & smaller in my sight…& I can more readily agree with His way when the challenges come!!!! Now I find the grace (it’s always there…we just buffer it’s power & reality when we lean to selfishness) in abundance BEFORE I have to cofront a challenge. I could go on & on….I didn’t even mean to say all of this!!!
But our battle is not just the country itself. We NEED to pray for each other, as many are challenged in the depths of their hearts. We ALL…ALL…ALL!!!…need to take iventory before we settle in on our choice of the candidates. It’s there that we will find if we are one with Him at this critical hour. The consequence? That this country would be lost to much tribulational consequence. The fact that we have always supported Israel, I believe, has been our saving grace. We could potentiallly loose this, too (supporting Israel).
The enemy is crouching at the door of our hearts…we MUST hold EACH other up in prayer with the understanding that WE ARE CHALLENGED…the powers, rulers, principalities are powerfully at work. We MUST stand in the gap for each other…& be faithful in our love for each other. God bless each one! I pray for an intimacy with God like never before for each believer in this time.

Though the election is over, I say yes, I will stand with you still, Sister Melanie. I also have a greater resolve for the battle by using our powerful weapon of prayer that the LORD gives to us. I will stand with you in prayer and against the destructive forces of our nation. I pray for the soul of our nation, “One nation under God, with liberty and justice for ALL!”
